(La Puente, CA) — Today, California State Senator Bob Archuleta and his campaign for Congress revealed their quarterly fundraising, bringing in a total of $334,812.18. This fundraising achievement comes on the heels of Congresswoman Grace Napolitano’s recent gracious endorsement of Senator Archuleta to be her successor.
Congresswoman Napolitano emphatically endorsed Bob Archuleta, saying, “I am proud to endorse him for my congressional seat. I know Bob, I know his family, and I trust and believe in him. I hope you will follow my lead and support Bob.”
In response to Congresswoman Napolitano’s endorsement, Senator Archuleta said, “I’m humbled and honored to have earned Congresswoman Napolitano’s strong support to succeed her in Congress. She’s an outstanding public servant and a titan in Congress, with an incredible record of accomplishments. I pledge to work tirelessly to continue her work and make a difference for our community.”
“I have been in the trenches, I understand what it is like, and I have a passion and desire to serve. I enjoy serving constituents and want to take that passion to Congress,” Archuleta continued.
The Archuleta for Congress campaign also has $329,031.91 cash on hand as of the close of the reporting period.
State Senator Bob Archuleta is an Army veteran, having served in the 82nd Airborne, and was appointed by President Obama to the Board of Visitors to the United States Military Academy at West Point, which oversees issues related to military training, infrastructure, and former law enforcement officer.
Senator Archuleta currently serves as the Chair of the Senate Committee on Military and Veterans Affairs. He is also a member of the Business, Professions, Economic Development Committee, Government Organization Committee, Transportation Committee, as well as the Joint Legislative Committee on Emergency Management.
Senator Archuleta is a husband to his wife, Rose, and proud father to his five children, and loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren.
