Senator Bob Archuleta candidate for U.S. Congress continues to gain momentum with major endorsement from IBEW Local 11

Veteran and Former Presidential Appointee Secures Major Endorsements
in the 31st Congressional 
District

(LA PUENTE, CA) – Senator and 82nd Airborne Division Army Veteran, Bob Archuleta continues to gain momentum in his campaign for Congress in the gist District, as he proudly announced his endorsement of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 11.

IBEW Local Union 11 is the dynamic and progressive voice of the Electrical Construction Industry in Los Angeles. IBEW 11 represents 12,000 Electricians, Communications and Systems Install Transportation Systems Journeyman, Civil Service Electricians, Apprentices, Construction Wireman and Construction Electricians.

Senator Archuleta, a distinguished former Army paratrooper and Chair of the California Senate Committee on Military and Veterans Affairs, has earned the distinction of being the first Latino to be appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the Board which oversees Westpoint, where he had the honor of serving with four United States Senators, five Congressmembers and. five other presidential appointees. His commitment to veterans and military issues extends to his appointment by Governor Gavin Newsom to the Governor’s Military Council in August 2019.
