Veteran and Former Presidential Appointee Secures Major Endorsements
in the 31st Congressional District
(LA PUENTE, CA) ~ Senator and 82nd Airborne Division Army Veteran, Bob Archuleta continues to gain momentum in his campaign for Congress in the gist District, as he proudly announced the endorsement today of Los Angeles County Association of Probation Supervisors, SEIU 721.
“Senator Archuleta’s long ties to our union have shown us his commitment to understand law enforcement needs. Our members and supporters strongly support his candidacy for US. Congress,” said Regino Torres, Jr., Chairperson, LA County Association of Probation Supervisors.
Senator Archuleta, a distinguished former Army paratrooper and Chair of the California Senate Committee on Military and Veterans Affairs, has earned the distinction of being the first Latino to be appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the Board which oversees Westpoint, where he had the honor of serving with four United States Senators, five Congressmembers and five other presidential appointees. His commitment to veterans and military issues extends to his appointment by Governor Gavin Newsom to the Governor’s Military Council in August 2019.
